About us
A remodeling contractor that keeps you in the loop
SimpleStrategies LLC is a residential general contractor serving the Minneapolis–St. Paul and surrounding suburbs. We specialize in bathroom and exterior remodeling.
Our story
SimpleStrategies was started by Jonathan Benitez with a simple idea: homeowners deserve a contractor who does quality work at a fair price, and who tells them what is going on every step of the way.
Today Jonathan Benitez and co-owner Harvey lead every project personally. Many of our customers come to us through referrals from neighbors and friends, and we work hard to keep it that way.
What you can count on
Quality craftsmanship
We take pride in work that looks right and lasts, from the framing you never see to the trim you see every day.
Clear communication
A written scope for every project and updates every week, or every day if you prefer. You always know what is happening and what is next.
Fair, honest pricing
Quality balanced with cost. The price in your written scope is the price you pay, and any change is agreed in writing first.

How we work
No surprise costs. No guessing where things stand.
The biggest worries with any remodel are delays and surprise bills. We built how we work around fixing both.
Free visit and quote
We come out, look at the space and listen to what you want. Then you get a free quote.
A clear written scope
Exactly what we will do, the materials, the price and the schedule, in writing before work starts. No surprise costs.
Regular updates
Weekly updates at a minimum, daily if you prefer. If anything changes, you hear it from us first, with a plan.
Final walkthrough
We walk the finished job with you and make sure every detail is right before we call it done.
